Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes what is and is not allowed when using Impozly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and our websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Legal and Authorized Use Only
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
- Do not upload, process, store, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or discriminatory.
- Do not use the Services to infringe intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or patents.
- Do not use the Services to violate anyone’s privacy or publicity rights.
2. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits or endangers children;
- Content promoting terrorism, violence, or self-harm;
- Malware, viruses, trojans, or any code intended to damage or disrupt systems;
- Phishing, fraud, scams, or impersonation;
- Spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
- Counterfeit goods, forged documents, or deceptive business materials.
3. Technical Restrictions
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without authorization;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services;
- Circumvent access controls, rate limits, plan entitlements, or billing mechanisms;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services;
- Use automated tools such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Services, except where explicitly permitted by API documentation;
- Resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services without a written agreement.
4. Fair Use of Processing Resources
The Services are intended for production print-shop imposition workflows. You may not deliberately generate excessive, unreasonable, or abusive load, including repeatedly uploading files you have no intention of using, flooding the queue, or attempting to exhaust storage or compute limits.
5. API Usage
API access is provided to eligible Studio-plan customers. API keys must be kept secret. You may not share keys, expose them in public repositories, or use them in ways that violate your plan limits. We may revoke API access for abuse or non-payment.
6. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you discover unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately at support@impozly.com.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including:
- Removing or refusing to process prohibited content;
- Suspending or terminating your account or subscription;
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement;
- Pursuing legal remedies for damages caused by violations.
8. Reporting Abuse
To report a violation of this Policy, email us at support@impozly.com with a description of the issue and any relevant details. We will review reports promptly and take action as appropriate.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted at this URL with the effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
